Researching into Drama, When producing an dramatic pieces we must consider the influences that help portray drama in a modern and serious manor by using realistic features such a living, clothing and personality when doing this we must also interact with issues within the actors life such as peer pressuring but also enlighten the social ability when out and enjoying himself with his mates, when making this film we will also included the main actor, his mum and little sister as this a stereotypical way of a family who is struggling in the medias eyes, one type of income, older son who is involved with violence and mischief and has no rules but yet adore his mum and little sister.
When producing the film we need to make the film connect with the audience this is by adding realistic features to the film, we can reach out to the audience through many ways such as an illness may occur to his mum and he has to look after her whilst trying to follow his dream.
When connecting with the audience you are also expect positive feed back due to the reality side of the film, we plan to create are film to be realistic and to match the living style of family struggling to maintain a living and young boy fighting for his dream.

Although the film is foreign you are able to tell the atmosphere by the body language from the crowd and through both fighters by the aggression in each actors face, the song at the begin helps show the audience that he is the best because a patriotic song is being played over his name, this helps create an atmosphere among the audience.
The film Goal 2 is a film based about a young boy who is smuggled across from Mexico to America and is following his dream to become the worlds best footballer and is picked up from an English team Newcastle, here I will be analyzing the first 2:00 of the film.
The screening shows the opening scenes of a football stadium rammed packed with fans and light song is playing in the background to help emphasis and create a mood upon the audience, the pitch consists of multiple famous footballers which help draw in the audience and makes them feel more involved the tension within the game helps roar up the audience as either Madrid or Barcelona will win the audience then mentally decides who he wants to win.
This will help me with my final film as I can take visual aspects from each film and help create the dramatic story line and help grab the viewers attention within the first opening clips and to make the film enjoyable throughout the clip.

Storyboard of remake-
Here is the story of the remake, in the storyboard there are only 6 main changes throughout the opening scene, this was convenient for us we didn't have to do too much when having too use the process of green screening which is a new formulae and technique we have had to learn as a group.
As you can see there is isn't many changing scenes and are very simple to replicate and this making the processing of green screening easier for us.

why we chose the genre
The genre that we chose our film to be was a sporting drama. The reason we have chosen to use this genre of film is because we feel it appeals to us and people our age, which is the age group of our target audience.
When we first came up of the base idea of the film we knew we wanted to base it around a sporting event, and athletics and the conflict within this sport was something that interests us all. The reason we chose to make it a drama is because we believe dramas appeal to both sex's, and depending on our actors ages will depend on the age group that will interested in our film.
One film from this genre, which is like the film we are creating is 'Fast girls'. This film is a British drama about a girl athlete who lives in a run down area. This is similar to our film because our film is also going to be about and athlete who is brought up in a rundown estate.

25 word film breif
Two friends run competitively, one friend starts to cheat and do drugs the other becomes very lonely, they have one final race to win everything.
This 25 word brief will help us when it comes to making our film opening as it will help us understand the narrative of the film so that it will fit in with the rest of the film.

Type of institution
What type of institution we will run as
There are two types of institutions in film, mainstream and independent. Mainstream films have big budgets and most of the time have big A list actors. They also produce the big blockbusters that make the most profit in the box office as they target to a mass audiences who would can just sit in the cinema and be entertained. Avatar is the top grossing film of all time and is a mainstream film it had a budget of $237 million and grossed a total of $2.788 billion.
While independent films have smaller budgets and normally haver less well known actors. Independent films focus more on the art of film and normally try to send a message of learning or understanding from their films. They aim the films at a more niche audience so therefore they don't normally appeal to everyone. Slum dog millionaire is an independent film that had a budget of $15 million and grossed a total of $377 million. Even though if hasn't grossed half the amount of avatar it is still very impressive for an independent film.
The type of intuition we would like to run as is an independent. This is because we do not have the technologies and funding to make a high quality and scale mainstream production and also we would not be able to make a mainstream production look realistic enough so therefore it would end up looking very poor. If we do an independent film it would be easier and the final cut would be much better and more realistic.

Reason for re-make of film opening
Super Bad film opening re-make
Why we are re-making it?
We have decided to re-make the film opening to super bad, we chose this film because it is an unusual film opening and consists of using a green screen. The fact that it will consist of us using a green screen was the main reason we chose to re-make this film, this is because neither of us have used a green screen before and looked forward to using one and learning how to edit with one. The fact that we have used a green screen to re-create this film opening has given us the skills to possibly use a green screen in the future.
How will the re-make will help us?
Due to the fact that we are re-making the opening scene to this film will help us in the long run when we come to create our own film opening. This is because it has now given us the skills to use a green screen, which could potentially help us in the future if we come to use a green screen. Another reason the re-making of this film will help us in the future is because, it will help us to know where titles need to be placed when recreating the film and also the kind of different types of editing we can use, which will make our film dynamic.

Mindmaps of 3 ideas-
Here is an mind map of our possible films which we related to the genre, these decisions where group based and we spoke about each genre, thinking of interesting and original ideas between all 3 of us.
This will help us with our film as this could of been the foundation of our final piece which we than developed into our final piece, without this I believe we wouldn't of came up with our idea without sparking our final piece due to original ideas.

Film Opening from Superbad-
Film opening from superbad we are doing Superbad re-opening because the technologies used which attracted us a group, we enjoyed the thought of using Green scene and being able to create a re-make of one of our favorite films pushed us even more to make the re-make.
The uses of green scene we felt gave us an obstacle to mount and would really help us expand our knowledge when using more the technical side of technology and editing skills, The film also is a comedy which as a group is our most favorite genre and superbad having a more advanced opening sequence we felt really suited as a group and was more hands on when producing are remake.
